I noticed that the mobs always attack & seemingly hit the first time without fail. After the initial couple exchanges the mobs sometimes stop attacking so you can hit several times in a row & finish it off without conflict.

I should clarify this- I noticed when pressing the attack button rapidly it can cause the mob to stop attacking. The mob will keep attacking you if you just stand there but once you initiate combat it becomes turn based(not sure if that was the intention) I think it should keep attacking you but the turn based system is good as well..
