Perenthia release version 1.1.0 is live and includes the following:

- Network changes (You will need port 4530 open to connect to the game server)
- User Interface updates, the chat, map and player panels will remember where they are dragged between sessions so you can layout your game client the way you want it.
- Server code changes that include some required backend changes for the networking and for some new features to be added soon.

Next Release

The next Perenthia release will include some changes for turn based combat, rather than being able to spam the server with attacks. This will lead the way for co-operative play and player versus player combat.

Still to Come

After the combat system is re-worked then Households will be implemented which will lead the way to Household versus Household combat/wars and Household towns.

Sorry but the UI is confusing now. Being able to move the windows around is neat but not sure it was a good idea. Gonna play with it more... I think the windows need a better default spot so they not on top of each other? Opening a new window, like Maps, doesn't popup on top so you may never see it.

The Tabs are a bit annoying. Going back and forth from General and Location is tiresome.

In the sewers, I am able to run past all the monsters to get to next rooms and the end. I think monsters should block any exit except the one you just came through.

I have never seen anyone else online so, I am still confused if this is a multi-player game or not, heh.

It would be nice if the world map wasn't visible unless it has been explored. Like when you enter a location, you get the exit info sent to you.

Sorry if any of this is nasty sounding. I too, am a hobbyist game programmer. So I know when you spend a lot of time on some cool feature then the players are like "WTF, stupid!" It is a pretty neat game and I keep coming back to see what is going on. It just needs some refining I suppose.

It does need refining so comments are welcome.

I was planning on making the tabs so you could break them into their own windows if need be and the other windows should be popping on top when opened so that is just a bug I need to find and fix.

Combat changes with the next release will actually force you to either do combat or flee and possibly take a hit, at least, that is the plan.

Of of two minds with hiding places you have not visited but I lean towards always showing, after all, if someone was to explore every area they could easily make a map and then hiding tiles is pointless. I don't know that it adds to game play at all, seems more of a distraction than a feature.

As for people online, invite your friends to play :)
