Here is how to connect:
Start by downloading the forever free client,
Download mIRC, then install it. Once you have done that open it up, you will see a nag screen come up telling you that you have 30 days left on your trial period. Ignore it, all it does is merely delay the startup. If the Options window doesn't popup at the startup, go to Tools -> Options, or press Alt+O. Fill out the information listed then press Ok.
Now that you've gone through everything, in the text area type the following command and you will connect to the Perenthia IRC Community Chat room.
/server irc.gamesurge.net -j #perenthia
Once you are in the perenthia channel you can save the channel to your favourites. Once its in your favourites you can click "Connect on startup" Which means when you open mIRC it will automatically join the perenthia channel!
