You may notice roles next to your profile details in the forums. Here is a brief description of the roles:

Mortal - The standard role for all players.

Elder - The typical GM or Game Master, in-game role, not really applicable to forums.

Immortal - Forum moderator, will have special in-game permissions as well, not related to an Elder though.

God - Game and forum administrators.
