Some basic commands that can be used with the "/" switch in the client input field:
SAY message - Sends the specified MESSAGE to everyone in the same Place/Room as you.
SHOUT message - Sends the specified MESSAGE to everyone in the virtual world.
TELL alias message - Sends the specified private MESSAGE to the player or NPC specified. Only you and the player/NPC will see the message.
LOOK - Gives the description of the current Place, including exits, players, mobiles and items currently in the Place.
MOVE direction - Moves your character in the specified DIRECTION. This command has shortcuts in the actual DIRECTION names such as NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, etc.
QUIT - Logs your current Character out of the virtual world, saving all progress up to that point.
HELP command - Provides help information on the specified COMMAND.
ATTACK alias - Causes your Character to attack the target using the primary weapon you have equipped.
CAST spell target - Casts the specified SPELL on the specified TARGET.
GET alias - Gets the specified item and adds it your inventory. You must have an open slot in a container in order to pick up the item.
DROP alias - Drops the specified item from your inventory.
NORTH - Moves your Character north.
SOUTH - Moves your Character south.
EAST - Moves your Character east.
WEST - Moves your Character west.
NORTHEAST - Moves your Character northeast.
NORTHWEST - Moves your Character northwest.
SOUTHEAST - Moves your Character southeast
SOUTHWEST - Moves your Character southwet
UP - Moves your Character up.
DOWN - Moves your Character down.
BUY alias - Attempts to have your Character purchase the specified item. The item must be for sale and belong to an NPC merchant.
SELL alias target - Attempts to have your Character sell the specified item to the specified target NPC merchant.
EQUIP alias - Attemtps to equip the specified item from your inventory. If another item is already equipped the existing equipped item will be unequipped.
UNEQUIP alias container - Attempts to unequip the specified item and place it in your inventory.
USE alias - Attempts to have your Character use the specified item. This is the default command for all items. For instance, using a weapon casues you to attack your current target, using a spell causes the spell to be cast on your current target, etc.
TARGET alias - Sets the specified ALIAS as your current target, enabling using weapons and spells to attack the target.
WHO - Returns a list of other players currently logged in and playing.
EMOTE emote - Sends an EMOTE or emotion message to everyone in the same Place as you.
WAVE - Sends an emote message to everyone in the same Place as you that you are waving. If you have a current target you will wave at that target.
DANCE - Sends an emote message to everyone in the same Place as you that you are dancing. If you have a current target you will dance with that target.
LOL - Sends an emote message to everyone in the same Place as you that you are laughing out loud.
CRY - Sends an emote message to everyone in the same Place as you that you are crying.
SOB - Sends an emote message to everyone in the same Place as you that you are sobbing.
GRIN - Sends an emote message to everyone in the same Place as you that you are grinning.
REPLY alias message - Replies to the last person that sent you a TELL message.
N - Moves your Character north.
S - Moves your Character south.
E - Moves your Character east.
W - Moves your Character west.
NE - Moves your Character northeast.
NW - Moves your Character northwest.
SE - Moves your Character southeast.
SW - Moves your Character southwest.
U - Moves your Character up.
D - Moves your Character down.
SMILE - Sends an EMOTE or emotion message to everyone in the same Place as you.
SING - Sends an EMOTE or emotion message to everyone in the same Place as you.
WINK - Sends an EMOTE or emotion message to everyone in the same Place as you.
